Portfolio
Installation provides the means to sculpt space. My interest is in immersive environments. They include video projection, sound, handmade objects, and film gels which creates color and form.
My work in performance began as a solo artist writing with hair on silk in a tent. Since then I have collaborated with singer/songwriter, Judd Mulkerin. Performances have been conducted in gallery settings and in public venues.
Video projection is used in the larger environments, and as a means to document installations and performances.
Selected Early Work
This selection of work includes mixed media sculptures that refer to architecture found in nature, interior objects that merge with the human body, and repetitive forms.
My studio practice includes automatic, unconscious ink and watercolor drawings that influence the larger installations. “Shadow drawings” have been used in different printmaking techniques.
